Privacy policy
Last updated: 22 October 2026
In short: this website has no analytics, no tracking and no cookies. We only receive your details when you buy a guide or write to us, and we use them only to deliver your order and reply to you.
Who is responsible
Obrigado-ish (Lisbon, Portugal). Email: [email protected].
1. Visiting this website
We don't use analytics, advertising tools, tracking pixels or cookies, and our fonts and scripts are served from our own server, so your visit isn't shared with Google or other third parties. Like any website, our hosting provider (Namecheap, Inc.) automatically records technical data such as your IP address, browser and the time of your visit, to run and protect the service. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure. These logs are kept for a short period set by the host.
2. Buying a guide
Purchases happen on Gumroad, which processes your payment details. We never see your card details. Gumroad shares with us what we need to deliver your order and help you: usually your name, email, country and what you bought. The legal basis is the contract with you and our legal obligations, including keeping tax and accounting records for the period required by law.
Gumroad is an independent controller of the data it collects: see the Gumroad privacy policy.
3. Writing to us
If you email us, we use your email address and your message to reply. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering you, or the contract if it's about an order. We delete these emails when they're no longer needed, and at the latest after two years, unless we need them for a legal claim.
4. Social media
When you visit our Instagram, Threads or Facebook pages, Meta's privacy policy applies.
5. Who else sees your data
Only the services we use to run the shop: our hosting and email provider, and Gumroad. Some of them are based in the United States; transfers rely on safeguards recognised by the EU, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. We don't sell your data and we don't send marketing emails without your consent.
6. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Write to [email protected]; we reply within one month. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD: cnpd.pt.
7. Changes
If we change how we use data, for example by adding analytics, we'll update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
